The Healthy Dining Team ran a nutrition project in the Dining Halls on Tues, Nov 13th, dinner hours. We developed criteria for food items to be HDT Approved with respect to sodium, cholesterol, fat, and fiber content.
We reviewed the menu for each of the Dining Hall and put a HDT Approved seal next to the items that meet our criteria.
We are investigating if this type of passive nutrition information makes any impact on student acceptance rate of an item.
