Mid-Atlantic Regional Culinary Challenge March 6, 2006
Chef Peter Imranyi went on to the Regional Competition in Virginia, after winning the Rutgers Competition in January 2006. He placed first for the Region, and will go to Toronto in July to compete at the National level. 2006 is the second consecutive year that a Rutgers chef has represented the Mid-Atlantic Region in the National competition.
Culinary Challenge 2006 at Rutgers
The Division of Dining Services held a Culinary Challenge in Brower Commons on Monday,
January 9, 2006. Nine chefs competed to represent Rutgers Dining Services at the NACUFS
Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference to be held at Virginia Tech, March 5 - 8.
The first place chef at the Regional competition will move on to the National competition
in Toronto, Canada this July 25-29.
Chef Peter Imranyi of The Rutgers Club placed first, Chef Jeremey Pierson of The Rutgers Club
placed second, and Chef Joe Cutinello of Busch Dining Hall placed third.
