    Rutgers Dining Services has introduced trayless dining at facilities. The decision to go trayless has been several years in the making. Sustainabiltiy is one of the five integrated themes in President Barchi's 2014 University Strategic Plan. Introducing trayless dining is part of Rutgers Dining's overall effort to reduce food waste, electrical use and has allowed us to save thousands of gallons of water each month.
